...What happened to this?
There were some really chill times where my own family could relate... Even my friend's families were hording away their spoils... c'mon who didn't know someone who had the classic, "Kool Aid Man" Atari game? They didn't shell out the $50.00 at Sears back then...
Later on you could get a whole garrison of items from t-shirts and stickers to exclusive comic books and Barbies... What happened?
Lately I searched the web for more info and found an announcement from Kraft. Kraft is to be ending the program as of 2010... I didn't even know one was still kicking around... Its funny when I was growing up getting "free" stuff was a big deal... you could turn on the Saturday Morning cartoons and Kool Aid Man would be saving the world and then there would be a quick blip about saving Kool Aid Kool Points for stuff... On the back of comics or on double page spreads in magazines there would be a whole lay-out of the treasure trove of prizes to be sought after...
What gives...
Needless to say the worst part of the "new" Kraft "Kool Aid Kool Point" installment offers 4 different items... A t-shirt, a beach towel, a plastic pitcher, and... (drum roll please)... A KOOL AID Packet Holder...
Its no wonder why they are ending this program...
Keep it real!
